Senior Staff Product Manager (AI Software Factory)

Join Housecall Pro, a fast-growing technology company, as a Senior Staff Product Manager for the AI Software Factory. In this role, you will set the product strategy and lead execution for shared systems that help teams build, test, release, and operate software with AI. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to identify high-value constraints in the software delivery system and improve speed and quality without compromising reliability, security, or accountability. You will also drive adoption of new tools and ways of working across teams.

• Proven experience setting direction for a developer or internal platform and driving adoption across multiple teams
• Technical fluency across APIs, architecture, data, reliability, security, and technical tradeoffs, with the ability to engage credibly with senior engineers
• 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of setting strategy and delivering complex technical or platform products across multiple teams
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI or agentic tools for engineers or internal users, including designing and running evaluations of agent behavior and work quality
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-team work and make decisions without relying on formal authority
• A multi-dimensional background with a breadth of cross-functional interests or depth of specialized mastery
• Curiosity, urgency, and a track record of learning quickly in unfamiliar or fast-changing areas
• Strong platform judgment, including knowing where consistency creates value, where flexibility matters, and when not to build a platform solution
• Personal resilience to learn from scratch, and successfully thrive in ambiguity
• Ability to move between long-term strategy and the technical details required to make strong product decisions
• A background in software engineering is highly preferred
