Principal of Strategy & Transformation

Join Abnormal AI as a Principal of Strategy & Transformation. In this role, you will be part of the Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy team, supporting sales, marketing, and customer success functions. You will source data, build models, run analyses, and manage senior stakeholders, all while leveraging AI tools. You will also drive cross-functional execution and coach team members on using AI to enhance their output.

• Sourcing data, building models, and running analyses independently, leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency.
• Driving execution of cross-functional initiatives, ensuring teams have context, timelines are met, and escalating issues as needed.
• Coaching analysts and Strategy team members on using AI to extend their own output, fostering a culture of innovation.

• AI-fluent by default, not by exception. You already use AI tools, Claude, ChatGPT, coding and analysis agents, as your primary way of working through analysis and modeling. You can prompt and iterate well enough to produce what would normally take a small analyst team
• Vertically integrated. You do the analyst-level work yourself (data pulls, modeling, analysis) and the associate-partner-level work (packaging the recommendation, managing senior stakeholders), without handing either half to someone else
• A self-starter who does well with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment
• Experience managing projects and large-scale transformations
• Ownership that doesn't end at the recommendation. You'll chase cross-functional execution, keep teams honest on timing, and escalate before something quietly slips
• High agency. You see a problem and go solve it. You don't wait for the perfect data set or someone's permission to start
• Comfortable building relationships and leading through influence without formal authority
• MBA from a top-tier B-school, or a "direct promote" track record in consulting
• Strong verbal and written communication with senior audiences, both business and technical
• Deep experience in enterprise tech; cybersecurity knowledge is a plus, not a requirement
• 3+ years post-MBA, with at least 2 in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), private equity, or a top-tier tech strategy/bizops function or equivalent demonstrated output. AI leverage means the right candidate may not fit the traditional mold
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT's data analysis mode) to build lightweight tools or automations, not just prose or slides
• Background in cybersecurity or another high-growth SaaS category
