Senior Technical Program Manager (IT Experience Engineering)

Join Salesforce as a Senior Technical Program Manager in the IT Experience Engineering sub-pillar. In this role, you will lead and coordinate multiple large-scale, complex programs and projects, ensuring cross-team collaboration, detailed execution, and effective communication. You will work closely with executives, product management, engineering, and vendors to drive critical program activities. This is an individual contributor role that requires strong leadership abilities, excellent executive communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead and coordinate multiple large-scale, complex programs and projects within the IT Experience Engineering sub-pillar, ensuring cross-team collaboration and effective execution.
• Manage programs/projects through the entire lifecycle, working closely with product management, engineering, and cross-functional teams to support the development of scope, deliverables, and work plans.
• Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, driving program meetings to make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues.

• Strong knowledge of leveraging AI tools to create delivery management efficiencies
• Ability to juggle multiple large-scaled programs/projects
• Effective in influencing high-quality decisions, solving and/or escalating issues, and meeting deadlines
• Self-starter; willing to dig in and get the job done with minimal guidance
• Experience in implementing and managing cross-functional programs/projects
• 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a highly matrixed in environment (i.e. Senior Technical Program Manager, Senior Technical Project Manager)
• Analytical thinker who is willing to make decisions cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives, technical and non-technical team members alike

• Must have previous experience managing programs in the IT Experience Engineering space
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Must have exposure to managing programs in an agile model (ie Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Minimum of 3+ years executing technical programs/projects in a hybrid delivery model (Waterfall & Agile)
• Agile certifications (ie. Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.)
