Investment Banking and Capital Markets (Banker-Fintech Associate)

Join our Investment Banking and Capital Markets team as a Banker-Fintech Associate. You will support the execution of live transactions, analyze key attributes of client companies, and develop materials for meetings with clients regarding mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions. You will also build operating models, perform financial valuations, and analyze corporate and financial information. This role requires extensive experience in M&A and capital markets transactions in the technology and/or FinTech sectors.

• Support execution of live transactions as a part of the Fintech coverage team, including preparation of detailed presentations and memoranda and analyzing the key attributes of client companies.
• Apply advanced financial, economic, quantitative, and qualitative methods, and principles to evaluate and execute merger & acquisitions, debt financings and equity raising transactions.
• Build operating models and perform financial valuation such as DCF, transaction comparable, and leveraged buyout.

• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred)
• Extensive experience providing quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions in the technology and/or FinTech sectors
• Series 79, 63 licensing preferred
• Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle, including pitching and bake off, preparing marketing materials and financial models and deal execution
• At least two years of investment banking experience, with relevant exposure to the technology or FinTech sectors
• Performing detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies
• Performing in-depth company and industry research to support live deal execution and pitches
