Technology Banker - Vice President (Investment Banking and Capital Markets)

Join our Investment Banking and Capital Markets team as a Vice President specializing in the Technology sector. In this role, you will provide comprehensive financial advisory and capital-raising services, including mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring advice. You will coordinate and review the analytical work of junior bankers, lead diligence processes, and act as a primary point of contact for clients. You will also create a positive work environment conducive to open communication and collaborative problem-solving.

• Coordination and review of analytical work of junior bankers to advance marketing and execution processes.
• Leading diligence processes, identifying and managing risks related to each deal, and acting as a primary point of contact for clients.
• Performing detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies, and conducting in-depth company and industry research.

• Experience working with senior level management maintaining confidentiality
• Leadership skills with the capacity to take initiative as well as assume responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, life sciences is preferred (advanced degree preferred)
• Established experience providing quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions (IPOs, equity follow-ons, investment grade and leveraged finance debt offerings) in the Technology Space
• Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle, including pitching and bake off, preparing marketing materials and financial models and deal execution
• Series 79, 63 licensing preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
• Performing detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies
• Performing in-depth company and industry research to support live deal execution and pitches
