Compliance Specialist (Temporary 6 Months)

Join SOPHiA GENETICS, a global health-tech company, as a Compliance Specialist. In this temporary 6-month role, you will support compliance operations, manage healthcare compliance, oversee enterprise insurance operations, execute contract administration, support risk management infrastructure, contribute to compliance communications, and stay current on developments in risk management and compliance. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, structured, and detail-oriented, with a background in law and 1-2 years of professional experience.

• Support the management and implementation of SOPHiA GENETICS' Compliance programs to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Own healthcare compliance operations, including drafting and reviewing healthcare professional engagement contracts, managing declarations to healthcare authorities.
• Manage enterprise insurance operations, including policy administration, claims processing, renewals, and insurer coordination.

• Organized and structured mindset — you thrive on systems, checklists, and methodical workflows. Not creative; rigorous and detail-oriented
• Fluent English (written and verbal) — this is our primary business language
• 1-2 years of professional experience, including internships (recent graduates with hands-on corporate legal internship experience welcome; law firm research experience is less relevant)
• Corporate legal internship experience is a plus (hands-on contract review and drafting, not legal research)
• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal background (law studies, JD track, or equivalent legal education)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills — you can juggle multiple deadlines without dropping a ball
