People Operations Coordinator

Join Baseten, a rapidly growing startup, as a People Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will own the onboarding experience for new hires, manage logistics, and support various aspects of the employee lifecycle. • Own the full onboarding experience for every new hire, including communication, task completion, and coordination with various departments.
• Manage the logistics behind the onboarding platform and day-to-day vendor relationship, ensuring smooth operations.
• Support more moments in the employee lifecycle as the role evolves, from job changes to location moves and more.

• 2-4 years in a high-volume coordination or operations role - People function preferred
• Based in San Francisco and able to work in the office 3+ days per week
• Extremely clear written communicator
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with a tactical, get it done approach, where tasks don't get dropped on your watch
• Experience incorporating AI tools, such as Claude, into workflows, with a strong mindset toward automation and systems integration
• Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity
• Experience working with recruiting, HRIS and onboarding platforms and related People systems
• Comfortable presenting to groups and facilitating engaging onboarding sessions for new hires as needed
• Strong spreadsheet skills, including comfort working with formulas and organizing complex data
• Experience at a fast-growing startup
