Head of Central Operations

Join Veho as the Head of Central Operations, where you'll build and own the operating model for our ground operations network. You'll define what a high-performing Veho market looks like, create the performance management system, and establish the analytics infrastructure. You'll run the operating cadence, build the reporting infrastructure, and own change management. Additionally, you'll build the analytics capability, own forecasting, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a builder with deep analytical skills and experience in operations, strategy, and business operations.

• As the Head of Central Operations, you will be responsible for building and owning the operating model for Veho's ground operations, defining what a high-performing market looks like, and creating the analytics infrastructure that supports decision-making.
• You will run the operating cadence, including daily standups, weekly reviews, and monthly health reviews, ensuring leadership has real-time visibility into network performance.
• You will lead the continuous improvement program, systematically addressing operational failures, driving structural fixes, and building a culture of continuous improvement in the field.

• Proven track record building performance management systems, operating cadences, or standards functions for a distributed operations network
• Background in logistics, fulfillment, last-mile delivery, or a similarly physical, high-volume environment
• A player-coach — you lead and you do. At Veho's stage, this role requires both
• A systems thinker — when the same problem shows up in 3 markets, you ask why the operating model allows it and fix the root cause
• A direct communicator — you say what you think, push back when timelines don't make sense, and earn trust by being honest
• Strong AI building capabilities to build supporting tooling and reporting
• Time at a tech-enabled operator at scale (Amazon AMZL, DoorDash, Walmart Supply Chain) plus experience at a high-growth, venture-backed company
• Has built and led a small central team from scratch
