Mechanical Engineer (All Levels)

Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you will design, test, and implement key hardware components for our humanoid robot. You will work with 3D CAD software, build prototypes, generate 2D drawings, and collaborate with our GSM team to select suppliers and order parts. You should have experience with actuators, electromechanical integration, and high volume manufacturing processes. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering are required.

• Design and develop key hardware components for humanoid robots, including parts that satisfy load conditions and durability requirements.
• Build prototypes, test assembly, and ensure proper functionality of mechanical systems, including actuators and electromechanical integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select suppliers, order parts, and support the development of robotic systems.

• Experience with actuators, including strain-wave, planetary, or cycloidal
• Experience with electromechanical integration, such as sensors, motors, motor drivers, wire harnesses, and communication buses
• Expert in using 3D CAD software to design parts with complex geometry
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field
• Ability to write and maintain clean documentation for design processes
• Experience designing and building prototypes
• Experienced with simulation and analysis methodology (FEA, MATLAB etc.)
• Experience with high volume manufacturing processes
• Experience working with contract manufacturers
• CATIA V6 Experience
• Wire harness design experience
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
