Mechanical Engineer Intern (Winter 2027)

Join our team as a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Fall 2026. In this role, you will design, test, and implement key hardware components for our humanoid robot. You will work with 3D CAD software, build and test prototypes, generate accurate 2D drawings, and support electromechanical integration. This internship is ideal for students in their final year of an undergraduate or master’s program, as well as recent graduates on track to complete their degree by the end of 2026 or the following year.

• Design and develop mechanical components for humanoid robots using 3D CAD software.
• Build, test, and validate prototypes to ensure they meet performance and durability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mechanical engineering and systems integration efforts.

• Must submit a portfolio or website of relevant projects and your role
• Experience designing, building, and testing mechanical prototypes
• Ability to write and maintain clean documentation throughout the design process
• Experience using 3D CAD software to design parts with complex geometry
• Passion for robotics and hardware development
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with hardware projects
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field, having completed at least two years by the start of the internship
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and first article inspection
• Experience with sensors, motors, or electromechanical systems
• Exposure to FEA, simulation tools, or basic programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
• CATIA V6 experience
