Accounting Manager

• Oversee monthly closing activities for assigned areas by reviewing, verifying, and approving accurate journal entries for assigned areas.
• Lead and improve the processes for the Cost of Revenue Corporate Accounting team, identifying potential SOX impacts from proposed process and systems changes.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting by working cross-functionally with other Fastly teams and assisting the SEC Reporting team with 10-Q/K footnote preparation.

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lead projects and processes to closure
• Experience with Fixed Asset and Internal-use Software accounting
• Experience with NetSuite
• Ability to evaluate and apply AI tools responsibly to accelerate close processes while maintaining accuracy and controls
• Ability to think strategically, build cross-functional relationships, and take initiative to drive results
• Bachelor's degree in accounting 7+ years progressive accounting experience, including experience in a manager-level role at a publicly traded company
• Audit experience and CPA licenseExperience with FloQast, Coupa, AuditBoard and G-Suite
• Finance transformation and/or system implementation experience
• Cross-team project management experience
