FP&A Senior Analyst (Consumer Products)

Join Crunchyroll, a leading global anime brand, as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will support the global Merchandise lines of business, working closely with business leaders across various sectors. You will be responsible for the full FP&A cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, performance analysis, and long-range planning. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities, as well as experience in consumer products, entertainment, retail, or e-commerce.

• Support the full FP&A cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, performance analysis, and long-range planning.
• Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and inventory, and develop financial assumptions in partnership with business owners.
• Produce clear variance analysis across revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, inventory, and contribution margin, and work closely with Accounting to support accurate and timely monthly and quarterly closes.

• Experience with FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
• Experience using NetSuite, Adaptive, Board, or other enterprise software
• Experience analyzing revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and business performance drivers
• Experience within consumer products, intellectual property licensing, entertainment, media, retail, physical products, or e-commerce
• Strong AI tool acumen and ability to drive business insight, analysis and modeling
• Ability to interpret financial results and translate them into clear commercial insights
• Advanced financial modeling skills, ideally with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in highly analytical environments (e.g. FP&A, Accounting, Consumer Products)
