Strategic Senior Finance Analyst (Consumer)

Join Coinbase's FP&A team as a Strategic Senior Finance Analyst. In this role, you will be the financial partner to Consumer leadership, owning the analysis and planning that guides resource allocation and efficiency across one of Coinbase's largest business lines. You will be responsible for end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial deliverables for Consumer OpEx, as well as building and maintaining driver-based financial models. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations and lead the preparation and presentation of financial analyses during business reviews.

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with direct ownership of OpEx planning (headcount, marketing spend, product operations, or similar categories)
• Experience in a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services environment with comfort operating across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
• Demonstrated experience building driver-based financial models and scenario analyses in Excel, with proficiency in SQL for data analysis and at least one planning tool (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite)
• History of partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, or Design teams to align financial plans with business priorities and influence resource allocation
• Track record managing operating large expense budgets, delivering forecasts, and producing variance analysis that informed executive decisions
