Principal Product Manager

Join SoFi as a Principal Product Manager, where you'll lead one of our most strategic product areas. In this cross-functional role, you'll set the vision, define strategy, and drive execution on complex initiatives that impact how our members manage their money. You'll work closely with various teams, including engineering, design, data science, marketing, operations, finance, risk, legal, compliance, and executive leadership. • Experience owning end-to-end product delivery and P&L or key business outcomes
• 8+ years of product management experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in a technical, finance, or quantitative field
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills, particularly with engineering, design, data science, security, compliance, legal, and analytics
• Deep technical fluency and ability to collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and architects on trade-offs and design decisions
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, trade-offs, and evolving constraints in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity for diverse stakeholders and present to C-level leadership
• Proven track record leading technically complex or highly strategic products at scale
• Demonstrated ability to balance long-term platform and product investments with near-term delivery needs
• Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, or other highly regulated industries
• MBA or advanced degree in a technical, business, or quantitative field
• Experience with data-driven, personalized, or AI-powered consumer products
• Experience building and mentoring high-performing product teams
• Passion for helping members achieve financial independence and get their money right
