Lead Algorithms Engineer

Join Dexterity as a Senior Lead Algorithms Engineer, where you will tackle complex challenges in robot task and action planning. You will utilize machine learning, search, and optimization techniques to solve sequential decision problems related to the physical world and its dynamics. You will also work on sensor fusion, state estimation, and collaborate with various teams to improve the system's internal world model. Additionally, you will be responsible for building high-quality, maintainable software and leading efforts to enhance algorithm performance.

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced algorithms for robot task and action planning, leveraging techniques from machine learning, optimization, and reinforcement learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms with existing software infrastructure, ensuring high quality, maintainable, and performant software.
• Stay abreast of the latest progress in relevant fields and contribute to the continuous improvement of Dexterity’s technology foundations.

• Optimization (convex, mip, non-convex)
• Familiarity with Linux and git versioning
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics and strong knowledge of Modern C++ and Python (preferred)
• Artificial Intelligence (deep learning, reinforcement learning)
• System Modeling
• Statistics and State Estimation
• Search Strategies (mcts, dfs, etc.)
• 5+ years of relevant Industry or Research experience
• Constraint Satisfaction Problems
• Operations Research
• Familiarity with multiple of the following:
• Motion Planning
