Deployment Engineering Intern

Join our Commercial Operations team as a Deployment Engineering Intern for Winter 2027. In this role, you will work directly with deployment engineers and the pilot team to improve the operation and troubleshooting of our humanoid robots in real-world settings. You will triage and organize issues from the field, test software and hardware changes, maintain technical documentation, develop curriculum for pilots, and collect feedback from pilots and coaches. This internship requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical writing abilities, and a background in engineering or computer science.

• Assister les ingénieurs de déploiement dans le triage et l'organisation des problèmes rencontrés sur le terrain, en reproduisant les problèmes et en préparant des rapports clairs.
• Tester les modifications logicielles et matérielles, recueillir les retours de l'équipe pilote et créer des procédures opérationnelles standard robustes.
• Développer un curriculum qui renforce les compétences en dépannage des pilotes et aider les entraîneurs à l'enseigner efficacement.

• Minimum 10 weeks internship, starting January 2027
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical, Computer, or Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Clear communicator who works well with pilots, coaches, and engineers
• Organized and self-directed, with good judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable learning new systems quickly and working hands-on with hardware
• Experience creating tutorials, training materials, or teaching (TA, tutoring, mentoring)
• Familiarity with Linux, Python, or debugging robotic or automated systems
• Experience with project management or documentation tools (Confluence, Jira, Notion)
