Hotel Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and hardworking Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and pleasant experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
Inspect and repair guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas.
Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and carpentry issues.
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and work orders.
Maintain hotel equipment, tools, and maintenance supplies.
Identify and report safety hazards, building defects, and equipment malfunctions.
Assist with painting, patching, furniture repairs, and other general maintenance tasks.
Follow hotel safety procedures, emergency protocols, and applicable building codes.
Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and secure.
Work collaboratively with housekeeping, front desk, and other hotel departments.
Qualifications
Previous maintenance experience preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform maintenance tasks as required.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or different shifts as needed.
