You & your role

As Corporate Strategy Lead, you know the secrets of… turning uncertainty into clear strategic direction. You lead complex strategy and business development assignments, connect external trends with customer and market needs, and help senior stakeholders make well-founded choices. You challenge established thinking, bring multidisciplinary teams together and build commitment around opportunities with real potential.

• Explore how developments in technology, regulation or society could affect Rabobank’s future direction.
• Develop and validate a business case for a promising new opportunity and create senior sponsorship.
• Connect strategies and major change initiatives across Rabobank to strengthen coherence and shared priorities.

Facts & figures

• 40 hours per week.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• A position in scale 10 or 11, depending on your experience and the complexity you can manage independently.

• Lead complex strategic assignments, frame enterprise-level choices and advise senior stakeholders on risks, dependencies and trade-offs.
• Translate customer needs and external developments into future scenarios, strategic implications and clear recommendations for Rabobank.
• Advance promising opportunities through discovery, business-case development and validation, while building sponsorship, commitment and ownership.

You & your talent

• A strong academic foundation in strategy, economics, business, finance, innovation, technology, sustainability, data or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, business development, consulting, innovation, corporate finance or transformation.
• Strong strategic judgement, with the ability to distinguish facts from assumptions and identify connections across different domains.
• Clear and influential communication, including building narratives, facilitating senior discussions and adapting your message to different audiences.
• Trusted stakeholder management, creating commitment among people with different interests without relying on formal authority.
• Professional proficiency in English; Dutch is useful but not required.
