Rabobank Traineeship Business & ITJob Description
Would you like to contribute to Rabobank’s business and IT ambitions while developing your own skills, confidence and professional direction?
This Traineeship is a good match for you if you know you like the work field of Business and IT, but not yet which exact role is perfect for you. Within these 18 months we offer you a chance to explore what we can offer in working in IT and what kind of future IT role suits you the best.
Summary
The Rabobank Traineeship Business & IT is a development programme for recent graduates who want to work at the intersection of business and technology but are still exploring which role suits them best. You will be moving to a different department within the bank. In each rotation, you will take on practical assignments, experience a different role and contribute to improving Rabobank’s systems, processes or services.
Alongside your daily work, you will join a trainee network, work on a side project and follow a personal and professional development programme. A Young Talent Manager, experienced colleagues and a buddy will help you set learning goals, reflect on your progress and build your network. By the end of the traineeship, you will have a broad understanding of Rabobank’s IT domain and a clearer view of the role in which you want to continue your career.
- An 18-month traineeship starting on 1 April 2027.
- Up to 4 rotations across different departments.
- Training, coaching, a side project and access to the Rabobank trainee network.
What will you learn and do as a Business & IT Trainee?
During your rotations, you will work on practical challenges within different parts of Rabobank’s IT domain. Your assignments and responsibilities may include:
- Complete rotation assignments in roles such as business analyst, engineer, product manager, project manager or business manager.
- Analyse information and data to support decisions, develop dashboards or assess the maturity of artificial intelligence applications.
- Connect business and technology stakeholders and translate their needs into clear plans, recommendations or solutions.
- Prepare an advisory report on technology, processes or applications that could be improved or discontinued.
- Contribute to a side project and collaborate with colleagues and other trainees across Rabobank.
Your precise assignments depend on the available rotations and your development goals. You do not need to know your future role before you start. Your interests and learning objectives are used as input when rotations are selected.
After completing the traineeship, the intention is for you to find a permanent position within Rabobank. Possible roles include business analyst, business manager, data scientist, product manager and more.
