Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

Join Skydio, a leading drone technology company, as a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. As part of the Cloud Platform and Infrastructure team, you will work on a variety of challenges related to cloud systems, scalability, deployment, and developer productivity. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and make a meaningful impact on how Skydio builds and delivers software. Ideal candidates are junior, senior, or master's students with hands-on experience in developing complex web applications or backend systems.

• Contribuer à la construction et à l'évolutivité des systèmes cloud qui permettent aux drones de résoudre des problèmes du monde réel.
• Participer à la conception et à l'amélioration de l'infrastructure cloud et des systèmes CI/CD, ainsi qu'à l'amélioration de la télémétrie et de l'observabilité.

• Familiarity with REST-ful APIs, Linux operating system configuration, build tools, relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL) and caching systems (Redis, Memcached)
• Understanding of cloud service offerings (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure), deployment techniques, and configuration management
• Proficiency with C/C++, Python, Golang, and/or Javascript/Typescript
• Meaningful project and/or internship experience developing complex web applications or backend data systems
• Solid computer science fundamentals
