Design Systems Designer (Contract)

Join SoFi's in-house creative studio as a Design Systems Designer. In this contract role, you will help build, evolve, and maintain the design systems that support our marketing website. You will collaborate with various teams, design landing pages, and create custom icons. The ideal candidate is systems-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing consistency with creativity. • Contribuer au développement et à la maintenance du système de design de notre site web marketing, y compris les fondations, les composants, les modules, les motifs et les modèles.

• Experience creating or maintaining icon libraries, or a strong interest in developing iconography skills
• Experience designing responsive marketing websites and landing pages
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
• Experience building a design system
• Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles
• Experience collaborating with engineers and working within technical constraints
• Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, color, composition, and hierarchy
• Understanding of design system principles, including tokens, components, variants, states, patterns, and templates
• Systems thinker: Sees patterns across components, modules, tokens, and page experiences; knows when to create, consolidate, or extend a solution
• Clear communication and strong collaboration skills
• A portfolio demonstrating strong web design, visual design, and systems thinking
• 4+ years of experience in digital, web, product, or brand design
• High attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions, incorporate feedback, and improve the work
• Strong Figma skills, including components, variables, styles, libraries, and prototyping
• Experience working on financial services, fintech, technology, or other highly regulated websites
• Experience supporting large-scale marketing websites with many products, pages, and content types
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, responsive behavior, and front-end development constraints
• Experience working within a brand redesign or evolving visual identity
• Experience with motion, interaction design, or micro-interactions
• Comfortable incorporating AI tools, including Cursor, into their workflow to support exploration, documentation, prototyping, and system maintenance
