Location: Round Rock, TX (100% On-site)

Why You’ll Love Working Here
At Central Texas Neurology Consultants, we provide specialized, compassionate care to patients navigating complex neurological conditions. We understand that visiting a specialist can be stressful, which is why we value a warm, calming environment above all else.
We believe a great patient experience starts with an exceptional team environment. We offer predictable, steady daytime hours with absolutely no weekend shifts, allowing you to enjoy a true work-life balance. If you are an empathetic, organized professional looking to build a career with a premier medical group in Round Rock, we would love to meet you.
The Impact You’ll Make
As our Medical Receptionist, you are the face and voice of our neurology practice. You will set the tone for our patients' visits, providing a reassuring, highly organized, and efficient experience from the moment they call or walk through our doors.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Patient Welcoming: Greet patients and families with warmth and empathy, manage the check-in/check-out process, and maintain an organized, comfortable front lobby.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage our phone lines, answer patient inquiries, triage calls, and accurately schedule specialized neurology appointments.
- Insurance & Records Management: Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, process new patient paperwork, and scan/route medical records securely.
- Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with our neurologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily patient flow and minimal wait times.
- Privacy Advocate: Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines to protect sensitive patient health information.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience: 1–2+ years of medical front-desk, healthcare administration, or high-volume customer service experience.
- People-First Mindset: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a calm, patient demeanor (highly valuable when working with neurology patients).
- Tech-Savvy Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and basic office software.
- Reliability & Order: A strong work ethic, excellent punctuality for our 8:00 AM start, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic.
Perks & Benefits
- Work-Life Balance: Steady Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with all weekends off.
- Health Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- Retirement Planning: Secure 401(k) retirement options paired with competitive hourly pay.
- Time Off: Generous accrued paid time off (PTO) alongside paid federal holidays.
- Office Culture: Supportive leadership and a highly collaborative team.
If you are passionate about helping people and want to grow with a wonderful team, we want to hear from you.
