Principal of Strategic Finance & Analytics (Incubations)

Join Airbnb as a Principal of Strategic Finance & Analytics, where you will partner with business, product, and analytics leaders to support investment decisions for Airbnb's fastest-growing emerging businesses. You will be responsible for building business cases for major investment decisions, managing performance, analyzing full funnel performance, establishing unit economics, assessing capital allocation, and presenting to leadership. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, superb financial modeling skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

• Experience evaluating growth strategies, ROI/efficiency returns, and the scalability of new business models is a big plus
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
• 10+ years of relevant experience. Ideally, you have demonstrated relevant experience in an analytical role such as strategic finance, strategy/management consulting, investment banking, financial planning and analysis, business operations, or private equity
• High ownership mindset with strong judgment and attention to detail
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Advanced SQL proficiency with the ability to independently extract, analyze, and synthesize data
