Product Compliance Manager (Credit Cards)

Join Cardless as a Product Compliance Manager, where you'll be responsible for ensuring that all new card programs, features, fees, and terms comply with consumer regulations. You'll work closely with product and business teams, review disclosures and application flows, and get product changes approved by our bank partners. This is a hands-on role with no direct reports, and you'll report to our CCO.

• Review new card programs, features, fees, and terms before launch, and provide recommendations for compliance.
• Work with product and business teams to ensure ideas align with regulatory requirements, and provide guidance on necessary changes.
• Establish and manage the compliance review process, including intake, checklists, sign-off, and record-keeping.

• You're comfortable owning work without a playbook
• Around 3 to 6 years in consumer compliance, regulatory advisory or legal at a bank, card issuer or fintech
• You've reviewed credit card products yourself (fees, APRs, terms, disclosures or account flows) and told the business what to do
• You write clearly, and you give a recommendation, not just a list of risks
• Strong working knowledge of Reg Z and the CARD Act. Reg E, Reg B, FCRA and UDAAP as they apply to cards
• Experience at a program manager or BaaS company, or working directly with an issuing bank
• Marketing or advertising compliance review for credit cards. If that's your background and you want to move into product, we'd like to hear from you
• Debit or prepaid card experience
• CRCM or another consumer compliance certification
• You use AI tools in your everyday work
