Senior Finance Associate

Join our Energy BD Finance group as a Senior Finance Associate in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining project finance models, supporting the deal development and financing processes, and developing pricing frameworks. You should have 4-7 years of experience in renewables project finance, exceptional financial modeling skills, and a strong background in electrical engineering or a related technical field.

• Exceptional financial modeling skills — comfortable building complex, multi-scenario models from scratch in Excel
• 4–7 years of experience in renewables project finance with significant deal-facing responsibilities
• Self-starter mentality with high ownership and the ability to manage multiple live deal processes simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience distilling complex analyses for executive and investor audiences
• Ability to structure ambiguous commercial situations into clear financial frameworks that drive decisions
• Undergraduate or professional background in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• Direct experience in energy storage, battery systems, or renewable energy project development and finance
• Familiarity with tax equity structures, ITC qualification, and government incentive programs relevant to clean energy
