Job Description
  • Patient Preparation. The IONM Specialist 1 documents a comprehensive patient history including neurological symptoms and medications. - Procedures. The IONM Specialist 1 performs routine procedures appropriate to their competence, according to the policy and procedures, including test setup, electrode application, maintaining patient safety and other related duties. Strong, well developed communication skills are essential for this position. - Equipment Maintenance. Maintains clean testing equipment, maintains proper sanitization of supplies and surrounding area, and reports equipment malfunctions inwriting to our engineer. - Miscellaneous.
