Lecturer II - Management Information Systems

The Department of Marketing, Information Systems, and Decision Sciences (MIDS) within the Ellis School of Business Leadership (formerly Anderson School of Management) at the University of New Mexico is seeking qualified candidates for a Lecturer II position in Management Information Systems (preferably Cybersecurity), with an anticipated start date of August 2027.

The James Gail Ellis School of Business Leadership (Ellis) is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and is one of the few in the world to attain both an Accounting and Business Accreditation from AACSB. We offer BBA and MBA degrees in eight active concentrations as well as an Executive MBA for working professionals. The University of New Mexico seeks highly qualified faculty who can contribute to the University's mission and values and continue to build the excellent research and teaching climate of Ellis School of Business Leadership. The MIDS Department faculty supports existing BBA and MBA programs, including concentrations in MIS, and an MS in Cybersecurity and Business Analytics. Teaching responsibilities for this position include undergraduate and graduate courses in Management Information Systems (preferably in Cybersecurity).
