Staff Software Engineer (Reference Data)

• Architect complex systems and implement solutions to deliver on business outcomes using a modern and diverse technology stack.
• Drive the technical direction for complex solutions in close alignment with product counterparts, and direct engineering peers in other regions.
• Partner with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions that meet business requirements.

• Ability to own complex projects involving partners across multiple team
• Proven ability to collaborate with and mentor other engineers
• Prior experience with distributed systems, microservices and messaging queues
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• B.S., or M.S. in Computer Science or similar technical field of study (or equivalent practical experience)
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Knowledge of financial concepts (e.g., stocks, bonds, etc.) is helpful but not necessary
• Passion for the world of FinTech and solving previously intractable problems at the heart of investment management is a plus
• Working knowledge of at least one object oriented programming language (PySpark, Python, Java), relational databases, SQL, NoSQL, OLAP, and/or data lake architectures
