Job Description

Join Anthropic, a leading AI safety and research company, as a Technical Program Manager for our rapidly growing enterprise business. In this senior role, you will partner with teams that own foundational enterprise capabilities, drive high-priority programs, shape readiness standards for new products, and translate customer and regulatory requirements into technical programs. You will have the opportunity to work across teams, directly with customers, and make a significant impact on our enterprise readiness.

  • Plan and execute the foundational-capability roadmap across product surfaces, ensuring clear DRIs, sequenced dependencies, and a single source of truth on coverage and status.
  • Drive the highest-priority foundational capability programs end to end, from scoping and tradeoff decisions through delivery on every surface.
  • Translate customer and regulatory requirements into technical programs, working with legal, compliance, and GTM to prioritize the highest-impact enterprise asks.
  • Have driven decisions among senior leaders with competing priorities, and are comfortable plainly articulating what is and is not ready for enterprise customers
  • Thrive when the operating model itself is still being defined and see shaping it as part of the job
  • Have worked directly with regulated customers on their security reviews, questionnaires, audit findings, and contract redlines, and understand how control design, evidence collection, and engineering delivery fit together
  • Understand what enterprises require before they adopt at scale, particularly for customers in regulated industries: security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP), identity and access (SSO, SCIM, RBAC), data governance (retention, residency, customer-managed keys), audit logging, and spend controls
  • Have driven adoption of platform or horizontal capabilities across product teams that don't share a reporting line, where success depended on other teams building on what you shipped
  • Have 8+ years of technical program management experience, with a track record of building cross-functional programs from scratch in ambiguous environments
  • Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed
  • Worked with financial services customers on data retention, data residency, and encryption requirements (including retention and deletion commitments, regional hosting, customer-managed keys, and contractual evidence and attestations)
  • Owned a HIPAA program end to end at a software company, including BAAs, PHI handling, and supporting product controls
  • Run a design partnership or co-build with a large enterprise customer
  • Experience using Claude or other LLM tooling to automate program tracking and reporting
