Job Description
Join Anthropic, a leading AI safety and research company, as a Technical Program Manager in the Life Sciences division. In this role, you will own the program for expanding access to Anthropic's life sciences verification programs, driving cross-org engineering work and establishing an operating rhythm for workstreams, owners, dependencies, risks, and status. You will not need a life sciences background, but should have several years of experience in technical program management and excellent communication skills.
- Thrive in unstructured environments with a knack for bringing order to chaos and creating clarity in ambiguous situations
- Are highly organized and can manage multiple parallel workstreams effectively across distributed teams
- Do not need a life sciences background. This is not a research role, and no life sciences experience is required
- Have worked on cloud or platform programs (preferred but not required)
- Are passionate about Anthropic's mission and interested in the challenges of bringing AI capabilities to the life sciences community safely and reliably
- Can engage meaningfully with the engineers doing the work, from platform and access systems to product surfaces
- Have several years of experience in technical program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional programs
- Have experience coordinating across multiple engineering teams and organizations simultaneously, including safeguards, platform, and product partners
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
- Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices
- We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed
