Senior HR Generalist

Join D-Matrix, a leading AI and technical talent company, as a Senior HR Generalist. In this individual contributor role, you will own the analytical backbone of our compensation and people data, support broader People Operations, and partner closely with various teams to deliver efficient, data-informed HR service. You will lead market benchmarking, own job matching and leveling, build and maintain compensation models, support offer construction and internal equity analysis, and own core People Operations processes. Additionally, you will serve as the HR systems owner and partner cross-functionally on HR service delivery.

• Lead market benchmarking and survey data analysis to keep salary ranges and job structures competitive and defensible.
• Build and maintain compensation models for merit cycles, bonus pools, and promotions, translating data into clear, sound recommendations.
• Own core People Operations processes — onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HR documentation, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in HR Operations, with meaningful, hands-on compensation experience — not limited to participating in an annual comp cycle
• Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to build models rather than just interpret them
• Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., ADP WFN, Ashby) supporting data-driven people operations
• Direct experience with market benchmarking/survey data, salary structure design, job matching/leveling, internal equity analysis, and merit/bonus modeling
• Solid understanding of equity compensation
