Senior/Staff Technical Program Manager (Compute Hardware)

As a Senior/Staff Technical Program Manager, you will lead the development of the next generation Primary Compute Unit (PCU), the brain of our autonomous vehicles. You will oversee the program from early architecture and design through validation, integration, and production, working closely with cross-functional teams and department leaders. This is a highly visible and mission-critical role that requires a deep understanding of hardware development and project management.

• Lead the end-to-end development of the Primary Compute Unit (PCU) from early architecture and design through validation, integration, and production.
• Translate company strategy and vehicle milestones into an end-to-end program plan, ensuring alignment across hardware, firmware, systems, software, safety, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and vehicle integration.
• Establish clear accountability and deliver timely, high-quality results throughout the entire product lifecycle, while managing technical supplier activities and ensuring robust end-of-line tests.

• Significant experience working with suppliers (JDM, CM) to deliver products from conception to production
• Strong track record in managing complex, cross-functional projects
• Deep experience with hardware development and HW/SW integration
• BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in and experience using tools required to manage complex projects (i.e. JIRA, smartsheets)
• Understands and deals with well with rapid design cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty
• At least 10 years of work experience, and at least 5 of those in program management
