Senior Account Executive (Canvas - Higher Education)

Join Instructure, a leading EdTech company, as a Senior Account Executive for the Canvas platform in the higher education sector. You will be responsible for driving new business growth, building relationships with key decision makers, and achieving sales quotas. This role requires a strong background in sales, particularly in SaaS or EdTech, and a passion for transforming digital learning in higher education.

• Drive new business growth by selling Canvas to new clients in the West/Central US region.
• Develop targeted sales strategies to build and nurture a robust client pipeline.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas within established timelines.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
• Outstanding strategic and consultative sales skills with the ability to conduct thorough needs analyses and develop tailored proposals
• Experience selling complex enterprise-level software, SaaS solutions, and services
• Experience selling at all levels, including C-suite and executive leadership
• Existing relationships within higher ed institutions in the West/Central US are a bonus
• 5+ years of proven sales experience, ideally within SaaS or EdTech
• Understanding of educational pedagogy and the process of selling an LMS is a plus
