Senior Manager of Software Engineering (Marketplace)

Join Zipline as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering (Marketplace). In this hands-on leadership role, you will lead the team responsible for Marketplace Management Tools, turning complex operational workflows into simple, durable products. You will partner closely with Product and Operations, own the roadmap and execution for marketplace management tools, and build a beloved marketplace app. You will also lead, coach, and grow an exceptional team of software engineers.

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers responsible for developing and improving Marketplace Management Tools.
• Own the roadmap and execution for a group of marketplace management tools, services, and products, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Partner closely with Product and Operations teams to make informed decisions and deliver meaningful marketplace impact.

• Strong technical judgment and the ability to guide architecture and execution so a lean team can get a lot done
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating clarity where others see chaos
• A track record of leading software engineering teams that ship operationally complex, customer-facing software
• Excellent product sense, prioritization, and cross-functional partnership
• A track record of hiring, coaching, and developing exceptional engineers
