Value Acceleration Engineer (SMTS)

Join Salesforce AI Labs as a Value Acceleration Engineer (SMTS). In this role, you will work directly with customers to build and deploy automation solutions that integrate with enterprise applications like SAP, Oracle, and Workday. You will write code, debug failures, and help launch and stabilize workflows. This position requires approximately 40-60% travel and offers a range of benefits, including medical care, life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

• You can distinguish reliable behavior from something that happened to work once
• You’ve independently shipped and operated production software, diagnosed failures, and improved the system afterward
• You can write and debug JavaScript or TypeScript and reason about web applications, APIs, and data flow
• You enjoy working directly with users: asking precise questions, building alongside them, and explaining technical problems clearly
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Playwright, browser automation, browser extensions, RPA, or enterprise integration
• Agent systems, tool execution, evaluations, or failure recovery
• SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or similarly complex enterprise applications
• Forward-deployed engineering or customer-facing product development
