Senior Accountant

Join VSCO, a fully remote organization, as a Senior Accountant. In this hands-on role, you will have meaningful ownership of the month-end close, general ledger, audit readiness, and accounting systems and automation. You will partner directly with the Director of Accounting and play a key role in optimizing our ERP and AP and expense technology. • Own meaningful portions of the month-end close from start to finish, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, prepaid schedules, and related journal entries.
• Partner directly with the Director of Accounting to continuously improve the speed, accuracy, and scalability of the close process, and help modernize and automate accounting workflows.
• Play a key role in the implementation and automation of our AP and expense platform, including workflow design, coding rules, and process improvements.

• Clear, thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working within an ERP and confidence learning new financial systems and tools
• Comfort working in a lean, collaborative environment where priorities can evolve quickly
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Ability to independently own workstreams, solve problems, and manage competing priorities
• A proactive mindset and genuine interest in improving systems and processes rather than simply maintaining them
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience with direct ownership of recurring month-end close responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the broader business context
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
• CPA
• Experience within a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company
• Experience supporting an ERP, AP, or expense platform implementation or migration
• Experience with Campfire, , Expensify, HubiFi, Ramp, Navan, or similar accounting and expense platforms
• Experience using automation or AI tools to improve finance or accounting workflows
