Materials & Qualification Specialist

Join Nexans, a global leader in electrification. As a Materials & Qualification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods. You will act as the interface between various teams and support the qualification process for CSA/UL approvals. Your responsibilities will include managing certification projects, working with purchasing and operations teams, providing technical oversight, participating in quality audits, and supporting commercial and marketing teams.

• Support global Nexans manufacturing sites through CSA/UL project scoping and execution based on NAM leadership team guidance on growth opportunities.
• Work with purchasing and operations teams to identify, investigate, trial and approve new raw material suppliers for cost savings, CSA/UL qualifications and risk mitigation purposes.
• Manage or supervise UL / CSA qualification projects for manufacturing sites within NAM and globally, product lines and raw materials.
