Accounting Manager

• Own significant areas of the monthly close, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries, and help shorten and tighten the cycle.
• Build and document repeatable processes across the accounting function, balancing startup flexibility with the rigor the business needs.
• Support the company's first-year financial statement audit and help build toward the rigor required for IPO readiness.

• Strong US GAAP knowledge and a track record of owning core close responsibilities end to end
• A generalist's range, comfortable moving between technical accounting, operational accounting, and systems work
• Experience supporting external financial statement audits, first-year audit experience is ideal
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, including a mix of Big 4 public accounting and high-growth industry
• A demonstrated, measured use of AI and automation to make accounting faster and more accurate
• Builder's energy and the judgment to know when to apply rigor and when to stay flexible in a startup
• CPA
• Consumer tech or other high-volume revenue experience
• Exposure to music royalties, equity, indirect tax, or payroll accounting
• IPO readiness or SOX experience
