Senior Technical Program Manager

• Oversee cross-functional teams, create and manage project schedules, budgets, risks/opportunities, and ensure alignment with technical and strategic goals.
• Lead technology projects through full program lifecycle including planning, execution, project closure, stakeholder management and issue/dependency management.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology projects, and tracking and maintaining schedules and status across multiple development projects.

• Proven ability to manage technical development and/or R&D scope
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Capella Employees must be a U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce, as applicable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in project management software tools and collaboration platforms such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence
• Bachelor’s degree or higher education in engineering, science, or a related technical field. Business degree acceptable with aerospace experience
