Supplier Quality Engineer

Join our team as a Supplier Quality Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in onboarding new vendors and evaluating their quality. You will develop and implement quality plans for suppliers, monitor performance metrics, and drive improvement initiatives. Your strong mechanical background and expertise in manufacturing processes will be essential in resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions. This position requires a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.

• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers, develop and implement quality plans for suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive improvement initiatives to meet or exceed quality targets.
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and industrial engineering principles
• Proven experience with process validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
• Review supplier process plan and drive improvements before start of production
• Expert at GD&T
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• CATIA V6 experience
• Robotics or other high tech industry experience
