Senior GL Accountant

Join Kikoff as a Senior GL Accountant, where you'll take ownership of key areas of our general ledger, from daily transactions to month-end close. You'll be responsible for Accrued Liabilities, Cash, Investments, Fixed Assets, and Compensation & Benefits. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build scalable, well-controlled processes as the company grows. You'll report to the US Controller and have a significant impact on the company's financial operations.

• Own close tasks for your areas: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, and expense allocations.
• Design, document, and run SOX 404 key controls for P2P, payroll, equity, fixed assets, and cash. Maintain process narratives and risk control matrices (RCMs).
• Lead or support finance system implementations and enhancements, including requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, testing, and rollout.

• Clear written and verbal communicator who works well with non-finance partners
• Strong operational background, with hands-on experience booking payroll and cash, not just reviewing them
• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally a mix of public accounting and in-house roles at a fast-paced or high-growth company. CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage competing priorities independently
• Proven track record of building scalable, efficient, well-controlled processes
• Experience implementing or optimizing finance systems (e.g., NetSuite, Ramp, Brex, Carta, or similar), from requirements and configuration through testing and go-live, is a plus
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, especially accruals, fixed assets, internally developed software (ASC 350-40), stock-based compensation (ASC 718), and investments
• Experience with NetSuite, Ramp, Brex, and Carta is a plus
• SOX 404 experience strongly preferred, including designing, documenting, and running internal controls
