Revenue Accountant

Join Kikoff, a growing fintech company, as a Revenue Accountant. In this role, you will ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards, support monthly close processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will also engage in system and process enhancements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in revenue recognition principles, experience in the fintech industry, and a passion for process improvement.

• Contribuer à l'intégrité financière des revenus de l'entreprise, des revenus différés, des comptes clients et des revenus non facturés.
• Appliquer les normes ASC 606 et les politiques de l'entreprise pour déterminer la reconnaissance appropriée des revenus pour les abonnements SaaS, les parts de revenus des partenaires et les modèles basés sur l'utilisation.
• Préparer et mettre à jour les horaires et les documents de travail liés aux comptes de revenus tout en garantissant l'exactitude et l'exhaustivité.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue recognition principles, Fintech or adjacent industry experience, and the ability to collaborate strategically with cross-functional teams on existing and new product offerings, and will function as a key point of contact for revenue-related considerations
• You’re detail oriented and have high analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills
• You're passionate about building systems and process improvements, and thrive in bringing process and organization to complex environments
• Experience working at a late-stage or public Fintech, lending, financial services or e-commerce / marketplace / internet company(ies) with high transaction volumes preferred
• Experience with ETL tools and other data transformation tools (Alteryx, Metabase, Snowflake, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with SOX and internal controls is a plus
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in revenue accounting, ideally with a mix of industry and public accounting experience
• You’re curious and willing to embrace AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
• Ability to automate and simplify large datasets
• CPA designation is strongly desired
