People Operations Coordinator

Join our People Operations team as a Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in executing and improving People initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with employment laws, supporting the onboarding process, and managing HR operations and programs. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent time management and communication skills, as well as a strong ability to work in a team environment. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.

• Collaborate in the execution and functional excellence of People initiatives, providing internal support and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws, wage and hour regulations, and required postings, and maintain audit-ready employee files.
• Execute a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for all new hires, and manage lifecycle changes including promotions, transfers, and offboarding documentation.

• High-energy, self-starter who has the initiative to function autonomously, anticipate needs, and prioritize responsibilities
• Must be proficient with computer systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 2+ years of previous administrative or project management experience in a startup environment. HR experience preferred
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong time management skills, ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required to support our diverse workforce
• Proficiency in tools such as Notion, Google Sheets, Monday, Rippling, and AI tools
• Degree in Human Resources of Psychology
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Familiarity with employee benefits management and coordination
• Experience with remote onboarding and working in a remote company environment
