HR Operations Partner (HR Operations)

• Be accountable for the end-to-end experience of HR programs and systems, for employees and for the People team.
• Own our core HR systems (Bob, Ashby, Awardco, Paylocity) as a connected whole, and lead the rollout of new tools when the business calls for them.
• Design and manage benefits programs, including reporting, auditing, and compliance with state, city, and federal requirements.

• Broad HR expertise across benefits, unemployment, leave, payroll, and immigration. Others seek you out for guidance
• Deep, practical knowledge of multi-state employment requirements, including strong command of California
• Clear, confident communication. You can make a benefits change or a payroll rule simple for anyone, and make a strong case for an investment to leaders
• A track record of improving HR systems and data, and a high bar for accuracy
• 7+ years of HR operations or People operations experience, with hands-on depth in benefits, leave, payroll compliance, and HR systems
• Experience building automation or AI-enabled workflows that changed how work gets done, using agents, no-code/low-code tools, or integrations
• The ability to plan and deliver projects across multiple quarters, working from goals and direction rather than instructions
• Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive employee matters, and the credibility to influence partners in Finance, Accounting, IT, and Legal
• Experience with Bob, Ashby, Awardco, or Paylocity
• HR certifications (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, CEBS, or similar)
• Prior work in a high-growth technology company
• Experience with M&A integrations, contractor classification, or global remote workforces
