Staff Product Manager (Provider Activation)

Join Headway as a Staff Product Manager, where you will own the provider activation process. Your responsibilities will include educating new providers, helping them migrate their patients to the platform, and maximizing the volume of high-quality appointments. You will work closely with various teams to ensure activation is effective and enjoyable. This role is crucial for driving provider sentiment, retention, and referral, as well as core monetization.

• Own the provider activation funnel, identify the stages that matter within activation and the thresholds that lead to high-quality retention.
• Build the strategy to drive the volume of activated providers and appointments per new provider, leading to growth in provider retention and LTV.
• Partner closely with other teams — including sales, CX, pricing, ranking, provider experience, and more — to ensure activation is effective, simple, and delightful.

• You've owned a complex growth or activation motion that required users to do real work and where impact was very closely tied to revenue
• You've influenced teams you don't manage — sales, CX, finance, pricing — and can drive alignment across competing priorities to maximize company-wide impact while building healthy relationships
• You're curious and someone who dives deep to build fluency and expertise
• You can make decisions, drive iterative progress without perfect information, and bring others on the journey
• You learn fast and can build a point of view on the connection between specific customer needs, user experience, and business outcomes
