Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Engineering)

Join Rogo, an AI-native finance company, as an Engineering Recruiter. In this hands-on role, you'll partner with our CTO and engineering leaders to build our San Francisco office and hire exceptional engineers. You'll drive full-cycle recruiting, advise engineering leadership, build a rigorous interview process, and strengthen our engineering presence in the SF technical community. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, strong technical fluency, and thrives in fast-paced environments.

• Partner closely with engineering leaders to define hiring needs, shape roles, and build the technical talent foundation of our San Francisco office.
• Drive full-cycle recruiting across engineering disciplines, from search strategy and sourcing through assessment, offer negotiation, and close.
• Map talent markets, build targeted pipelines, and develop relationships with engineers who aren’t actively looking. Craft outreach that connects their interests to the technical problems we’re solving.

• You are an owner. You are autonomous, self-directed, and comfortable working with ambiguity
• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a track record of hiring exceptional engineers for high-growth technology companies
• Creative sourcing skills and a track record of building relationships with passive technical talent
• Strong technical fluency and the ability to understand engineering teams, skill sets, and candidate motivations
• Experience owning complex technical searches and closing candidates with competitive offers
• You thrive in fast-paced environments. You are high-intensity and care a lot about what you do, and you're ecstatic to work at a startup
• High ownership, strong execution, and comfort bringing structure to ambiguous hiring needs
• You are curious. You find joy in learning about AI, technology, and finance
• Excitement about building our SF office alongside the engineering leaders and teams based there
• The credibility and judgment to advise senior engineering leaders and influence hiring decisions

• Experience recruiting in the Bay Area; AI/ML hiring experience is a plus
