Job Description

Description:
Tesla's Industrial Products team is seeking a Content Leader to build and manage the full content function across our growing global energy business. This is a people leadership role: you will directly manage a team of content managers and content development specialists spanning video, visual design, events, web, and customer communications, and you will set the strategic direction for how Tesla's industrial energy products are understood by customers, partners, and markets worldwide. If you have led a multi-disciplinary content or product marketing team in a technical B2B environment and want to do that work at a company reshaping the global energy grid, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of content managers and content development specialists across disciplines including video, visual design, digital, events, email, and customer communications

Define and drive content strategy for Industrial Products globally, spanning the full energy storage and power hardware portfolio

Own narrative and go-to-market positioning for product launches, campaigns, and key customer touchpoints

Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Executive teams to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling stories

Build and maintain scalable content operations: editorial calendars, production workflows, briefing processes, and cross-functional review cycles

Develop product positioning, messaging frameworks, naming, and audience segmentation strategies

Oversee creation of sales collateral, white papers, presentations, event experiences, and digital content

Drive executive and industry thought leadership content — positioning Tesla's industrial energy business in the market through external channels, conferences, and publications

Measure and report on content performance and audience engagement to iterate and improve strategy

Set high standards for quality, consistency, and execution speed across all content channels

Requirements:
8+ years of experience in content, product marketing, or communications — including 3+ years leading a multi-disciplinary team

Proven track record of creating compelling narratives for complex technical or B2B products

Experience in energy, infrastructure, industrial technology, or adjacent sectors strongly preferred

Strong people leadership with the ability to inspire, develop, and grow a high-performing team across creative and strategic disciplines

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong instinct for visual storytelling

Comfortable working at the intersection of engineering, commercial, and creative teams — earns credibility with all three

Ability to build scalable content operations and function effectively in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

Data-literate — comfortable using engagement and performance data to drive content decisions

Passion for clean energy and the transition to a sustainable global energy infrastructure
