Senior Staff / Staff Software Engineer (Trust & Safety)

Join Chime, a leading financial technology company, as a Senior Staff or Staff Software Engineer in our Trust and Safety group. In this role, you will lead the vision for one of Chime's foundational pillars, providing technical and architectural guidance to multiple teams. You will work cross-functionally to deliver Trust and Safety's vision, design and evolve new capabilities, and ensure that technical decisions support our quality, performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security goals.

• Lead the vision for Chime's Trust and Safety organization, focusing on sustainable growth and fraud reduction.
• Provide technical and architectural guidance to multiple teams, ensuring the delivery of scalable and extensible frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to build a cross-functional vision, design and evolve new capabilities.

• Ability to work in agile setting
• Passion and previous experience in building end to end member facing features and systems
• Strong competency in distributed systems, scalable and extensible platforms high availability design
• Experience with leading and empowering multiple teams
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering
• Language and technology stack-agnostic mindset
• Previously built and evolved high-scale back-end solutions
