Staff Product Designer

Join Peregrine as a Staff Product Designer, where you'll shape the design direction for public safety teams working with data. You'll have the opportunity to see Peregrine in the field, partner with Design, Engineering, and Product leadership, and lead ambitious design initiatives. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, a strong portfolio of design work, and a passion for creating intuitive workflows. • Lead the design of end-to-end experiences across a vast data platform, from research and problem framing to strategy and execution.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, and Product leadership to define the digital renaissance of public safety and transform complex workflows into intuitive solutions.
• Mentor other designers and help grow the Design discipline in the company, including shaping design systems and practices.

• Located in the San Francisco or New York area and open to working in office
• Ability to excel in a fast-moving, and sometimes unstructured environment, and to create structure where none exists
• Exceptional interaction design, visual design and design thinking, with the ability to clearly articulate your thought process to peers and executives
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch and Origami
• Experience mentoring designers and influencing beyond your immediate team
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow from a team of high-performing builders
• A strong portfolio of design work that conveys both craft and an ability to lead and ship successful products
• Passion for distilling complex problems into intuitive workflows while maintaining the quality and polish of the product
• 10+ years of experience leading the design of complex software products while maintaining a relentless focus on the user experience
