Software Engineer (CDP - Foundations)

Join Coinbase as a Software Engineer on the CDP Foundations team. You'll build core platform capabilities for launching and scaling crypto products. Your responsibilities will include designing and shipping backend services and APIs, leading end-to-end feature delivery, and strengthening operational excellence. You should have 2+ years of experience in building and maintaining production backend services in a microservices or distributed systems environment.

• Familiarity deploying and testing in microservice ecosystems, including structured observability and monitoring tooling
• Proven ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly in writing and in live discussions with cross-functional partners
• Experience designing and shipping internal or customer-facing APIs with a focus on high-quality developer experience and clean interface design
• 2+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production backend services in a microservices or distributed systems environment
